
LITCHFIELD, IL – Jason Hebel and Jeffrey McCarther kicked off the multisport season for Grim Reaper Fitness Saturday with top-5 finishes at the Litchfield Spring Duathlon.
The event, which was run 20-25 mph wind, consisted of a 2-mile run, 12-mile bike, and another 2-mile run. Hebel was 24th overall and 4th in the 35-39 age group at 1:31:04. McCarther was 31st overall and 3rd in 45-49 at 1:41:47.

Run for Hope
Three Grim Reaper Fitness women competed in the Run for Hope, a 5/10k event benefitting Home Sweet Home Ministries put on by club sponsor Fleet Feet Sports Bloomington.
All three Reapers ran the 10K with Lisa Medved posting the best time at 54:11, which was good for 2nd in the 50-54 age group and 10th female overall. Julie placed 2nd in 20-29 and 12th overall at 55:06, while Laurie Bederka won the 40-44 age group wnd was 14th overall at 56:09.
